How it works, step by step

Apply and get approved
Create your profile, list your trades and service area, and upload your license, insurance and ID. An administrator reviews each document and approves your account manually.

Receive matched jobs
Our team assigns jobs based on your skills, availability and service area. Work that legally requires a licensed contractor or a permit goes only to professionals with a verified, current license.

Submit your estimate
Build an itemized estimate with labor lines and expected materials from the job page. The homeowner approves it before scheduling.

Get materials approved and pick them up
Add the parts and materials to the job with quantities and prices. After the homeowner approves the list, you purchase and pick up the approved items and mark them collected.

Complete the work with photos
Update the status as you go and upload before-and-after photos. The homeowner sees progress live.

Get paid after completion
Once the job is completed and the customer's payment clears, your earnings appear on your earnings page and are released in the next payout run.
Approval and verification
Approval is manual. We verify your contractor license number, classification, status and expiration date, your insurance documentation and your background-check status. Credentials are only shown on your public profile after an administrator verifies them, and expiring documents must be renewed to keep receiving matched work.
Fees and payment timing
Pix2Fixed keeps a platform commission on completed work. The current commission rate and any provider fee are shown on your earnings page and in your provider agreement before you accept your first job — we don't quote a number here that could go stale. Payouts cover completed, paid jobs and are released in scheduled payout runs.
